Spinach - 

Carbs and calories in spinach are very less and nutrients are abundant.  Spinach keeps blood sugar under control.  According to health experts, green leafy vegetables contain polyphenols and vitamin C.  Eating it regularly reduces the chances of getting diabetes.  They are rich in magnesium which helps in fighting insulin resistance.
