 Throat infection- If you have swelling or infection in the throat, then ghee is not right for you.  Ghee can stick to the throat and make it difficult to breathe and food particles can stick in the lubricant, increasing the risk of infection.  Therefore, it is advised to stay away from ghee even in colds and coughs.

If you feel that you have consumed more ghee, then do not eat anything until the ghee is completely digested.  For this, you can consume lukewarm water every half an hour.
