Exocrine Function of Pancreas

This is a major part of our digestive system and it helps to digest food. It secretes the hormones and enzymes responsible for digesting food easily.
Pancreatic is a 6-10 inch long gland that is found in the stomach in the back of the stomach.

Food is one of the basic requirements of every human being. The main ingredient of our food is carbohydrate, protein and fat, besides vitamin and minerals in the small quantities are also required.

Our body can not use bio-chemicals available in the food in their original form. Therefore, the digestive system divides it into small molecules into ordinary matter,

which is used according to our body. A major part of this digestive system is the pancreas

Working of pancreas as an exocrine gland - 

the pancreas is an ominous gland that releases three types of enzymes that make the final digestion of carbohydrates, fats and proteins, of which the lipase enzyme makes the digestion of fat smooth

The third cell in the pancreas is Delta cells that secrete the somatostatin hormone and this hormone works to maintain the balance between insulin and glucagon hormones.

Functions of Pancreas

• The pancreatic is internally leaking of endocrine hormones and exocrine hormones externally.
•  Its enzymes leak the digestive juices which are essential for digestion of food easily. Pancreatic hormones are leakage by islet cells which are present in the form of clusters. It has three main cells.
• Alfa cells that leak Glucagon and Glucagon helps in increasing blood glucose levels. Beta cells leak insulin, which is the responsible hormone responsible for reducing the levels of insulin blood glucose and increasing protein production. 
• Delta cells leak somatostatinin which maintains a balance between insulin and glucagon leaks.
• In its external leak (Exocrine) action, the leakage of an extension of the enzymes contained in the digestion of lipids, carbohydrates and proteins is also included.

There are two main functions in pancreatitis, the first is that it helps the digestion of food through the body. And secondly, it helps in controlling blood sugar.

 A healthy pancreas works to produce some important chemicals to digest the food we eat. It mainly produces enzymes and insulin.

Therefore, it has important functions on the basis of insulin and enzymes secreted by pancreatitis (pancreatitis)

Working of pancreatic enzymes:

• To digest proteins, to produce trypsin and chymotrypsin enzyme.
• Production of amylase enzyme to break carbohydrate
• Production of lipase enzyme to break fatty acids, fats and cholesterol.
• Pancreatic beta cells release continuous insulin when blood sugar levels rise. Which helps in balancing the level of blood sugar.

Production of insulin in pancreas production:

To use glucose in the form of energy through the blood in the muscles and other tissues. Insulin helps to absorb glucose by the liver. When body needs energy during the fact or exercise, it is obtained in the form of glycogen.

When sugar level falls in blood, pancreatic alpha cells release hormone glucagon (hormone). Which helps in balancing the level of sugar

With the help of glucagon, glycogen in the liver breaks into glucose. And glucose then normalizes blood sugar levels by entering the blood stream.

What is pancreatitis (pancreatic) - 

Pancreas is a gland, which is located in the stomach, and it is part of the digestive system.
It produces insulin and other important enzymes and hormones. It helps to break insulin and enzyme foods. By which the body gets energy.

• Enzymes and digestive juices are dispersed by pancreas and sent into the small intestine. Where it reduces the continuous breakdown of food in the stomach.
• Pancreatic hormone also produces insulin, which regulates body glucose or sugar levels in blood flow. Problems in insulin control can cause diabetes.

Pancreas is a major gland of digestive tract found in the stomach, its shape is like a fish. The part of its end is bigger and the lower part is smaller.

 This helps to divide the diet into small pieces. The head of the pancreas stays in the curve of the small intestine (duodenum). It releases glucagon and insulin inside the blood.
