Whooping cough is a respiratory disease.  It is believed that whooping cough is a disease of children but it is not.  

It also happens to elders.  It is a dangerous disease because it is contagious i.e. the viruses of this disease reach from one person to another through air.  

Thiscough increases in the night and day.  Many a time, coughing begins to thrive.  The eyes turn red.

A bacterium is the cause of cough

 It is an infectious disease caused by a type of bacteria.  This bacterium is called Bordetella pertrucisii.

These bacteria can also occur due to touching, eating and coming in contact with the cough.

Turmeric

Turmeric also has antibacterial and antiviral properties that can help in the treatment of whooping cough. 

 It also has a therapeutic effect on cough and is better if taken at night before sleep.  To make it, mix one teaspoon of raw honey and ½ teaspoon of fresh turmeric powder.  Drink it twice a day.

Garlic

Garlic is a natural antibiotic to fight whooping cough.  It has adequate antibacterial and  fighting agent against whooping cough. 

 To use it, take a teaspoon of fresh Garlic juice twice a day for a week.  You can also inhale vapors.  Boil some garlic in water and cover your head with a blanket or towel and immediately apply the effects for immediate relief.

Ginger

Ginger is an excellent remedy to prevent recurrence of whooping cough.  It also has antibacterial immune-boosting properties that help fight infection and also promote quick recovery. 

 To use it, extract one tablespoon of ginger juice and mix it in raw honey.  Take it twice a day for a few days. 

fenugreek

 you can also boil fenugreek seeds and add a few drops of freshly extracted ginger juice.  Mix well and drink it.  You can feel relief within a few days of drinking.

Other ayurvedic treatment for whooping cough

Likewise, taking honey and black pepper also provides relief in all types of cough.

 In the case of whooping cough, massage camphor mixed with warm coconut oil on their chest and waist before sleeping on the bed, the effect of whooping cough is reduced.

 Mixing honey in 3 grams juice of betel leaves and licking it one to one time is also very beneficial for whooping cough.

 Mixing honey in 3 grams juice of basil leaves is very beneficial for whooping cough.

 Coconut - In a cooker cough, giving pure coconut oil without any fragrant adulteration to a child of four to four grams a day is beneficial.

 Give ten drops of fresh juice of garlic, four grams each of honey and water, give each such quantity four times a day.

 Mixing sugarcane-raw radish juice with a chhatank (62 grams) of sugarcane juice and drinking it twice a day is beneficial in whooping cough.

 Basil - Grind equal parts of basil leaves and black pepper.  Make tablets equal to its moong.  Give each tablet four times.  It cures whooping cough.

 Guava - Cook guava in hot sand or ash and eat it twice in the morning and evening to get relief in cough.

 Burn corn and corn to ground ashes.  Add rock salt according to taste.  Fake four times a quarter teaspoonful of hot water regularly, there will be benefit.

 (Bronchitis) Ginger - Grind 15 grams of ginger, four almonds, 8 dry grapes - all of them lick twice in the morning and drink warm water.
