According to the American Lung Association survey, an ordinary person breathes 15 to 20 times in one minute i.e. breath for 20,000 times throughout the day. Small children breathe quickly in comparison to adults. They breathe for 40 minutes in a minute.

The right lung is divided into three parts called lobe. The left lungs have two lobes. These lobes are tissues like sponges, which are surrounded by plavernous membranes or membranes.
